My latest (long) update

 Copied from BMB, some overlap from last update,sorry. I was in the hospital from last Sunday-Thursday. Ended up having a PICC line placed which became an ordeal when my veins kept collapsing while they were attempting to place it. Finally got it situated in my other arm and began continuous fluids and also had my Zofran pump running through the line.After discharge I began experiencing a lot of pain around the line. We could never get the fluids to infuse but I wasn't showing signs of infection, just pain. Went to ER with chest pain, shortness of breath, and elevated heart rates last night.In the ER they treated me for MRSA with a strong antibiotic to which I had a severe reaction. So then they treated that. They could not get blood return from one of the lumens in the PICC so they pulled it out. I had a Doppler study on my veins today and found out that I have severe clots from my elbow to shoulder.I saw my high risk/MFM practice and they are having a vascular surgeon consult with the Doppler study to come up with a plan. It's looking like daily lovenox (sp?) now until 6 months post delivery. The good thing is that the affected vein is pretty superficial so it doesn't pose a big risk of causing emboli to my lungs.Had my up p moved to my stomach. Now just hoping I can get enough liquids in by mouth. Both babies looked awesome today during ultrasound. They were all curled up spooning haha!  So that's what I've been up to.

Oh, is that all? Obviously I'm teasing. For goodness sake! What an ordeal. I hope that you can get all this squared away and have a relaxing and healthy rest of your pregnancy.
