Did anyone here get depressed while weaning? My DD is almost 9 months old and I will probably wean her somewhere around a year. But I'm terrified of getting depressed again. I just started to feel normal again after struggling with PPD...
Mama of 2: one who grew in my womb, both who grow in my heart.
Weaning actually made me feel better. My hormones are balancing out instead of constantly battling with my body to make enough milk for my LO (I could never make more than a bottle a day).
Also, the added stress of finding a time and a place to pump every few hours for such a small result really wore on me and caused a lot of anxiety. I'm weaning now, and I'm feeling so much less stressed.
Good luck!
