Wow...so somebody (points to self) dropped the ball big time yesterday!  Here's the check-in.  So sorry I completed missed this yesterday and that I've been totally MIA for a few days.

 

This check-in is for mommies who lost a baby due in the month of August (any year), and any late loss mommies who gave birth and lost their precious angel in August. 

 

New to the check in: Welcome.  I?m so sorry you find yourself here but hope you find the love and support you need from the amazing women on TTCAL.  Tell us a bit about yourself, where you are in the TTCAL process, and don?t forget to include your August EDD or birth date.

RequiresExalted: CD2 on check-in day.  Short, 8day LP, possible because of a late O day?  Just made an appointment with a fertility clinic for April 25^th.

 

funnybunny: On CD17, in the beginning of the 2ww.  Next AF is due Friday the 13^th!  Keep us updated!

 

Hrgunasekera1: Got +OPK weekend of March 30-April 1.  Currently in 2ww.  If this cycle was successful then going to start temping next cycle.

 

Big_Noise: O?d late, at CD22, but gaining sine last cycle was O day on CD24!   Sorry things are rough with you friends being pregnant.  I hope you get your BFP soon!..as soon as your body evens itself out!

 

Kpsbabyzoe: Waiting for AF to restart.  Just started taking Provera.

 

Csspencer:  Tested and got a BFN, AF started 3/27.  So sorry it was a BFN, how are you doing?  Where are you in your cycle now, waiting to O?

 

crystal8503: About 6-7DPO at last check-in.  Testing this Thursday, April 5^th.  Keep us posted!

 

thetur: Still looking to O next week, but temping has been erratic.  Mine is always like this too- have you mentioned it to your doctor? Mine said she wasn?t worried about erratic temps and lack of obvious shifts either.

 

baby&thesea- Waiting until Easter to test at the earliest., still considering going to an RE.

 

ncchnat- First post-loss AF came this past week.  Where are you in your cycle now?

 

jobalchak- Just O?d, but not sure if it was a viable O.  In the 2ww now.

 

EKGibs- CD18 on check-in day, feeling crampy but no other signs.  Keep us posted!

Hi All!  I'm new here, and this is my first August Angels check in.

MH and I started trying August 2011 after over six months off BCP and charting and using OPKs.  I have a short LP and have successfully raised it with b6 a bit, but it is still too short. My OBGYN prescribed me progesterone supps but otherwise isn't concerned, and we've got a few more months before a referral to an RE.   

My EDD was 8-24-12.  The week I found out I had a few moments of panic (even though it was planned). I was worried about starting school (I'm a grad student) right when I was to deliver.  How I wish I could worry about that now!

We were given the ok to try right away after our CP and have been diligent ever since.  I'm now in the 2ww and way too hopeful as usual, but most of my "symptoms" are side effects of the progesterone.  I'm hoping to wait for AF to test  which is just a few more days as it will be a miracle if it doesnt come before 10DPO.

My family is somewhere between agnostic and athiest, so we've never really had any Easter traditions.  We get together for a meal usually and when we were kids did the whole Easter Egg hunt.

Hi everybody! I got my progesterone results back & it was 32 which is good. Its CD26 which is when AF is supposed to arrive & I have NO symptoms if it starting but I dont have any pg symptoms either . I'm just going to wait & see if she arrives in the next couple of days to test cause usually if I jump the gun & test right away it is a BFN. when I got my BFP in december I was 3 days late which is the first time I waited to test. I know that has nothing to do with the results but it makes me feel better lol

Hey ladies! So sorry about dropping the ball yesterday.  This weekend was crazy for us!  We had my sister and her boyfriend in this weekend, since we usually do the whole big dinner thing on Easter Sunday.  Then, last night I had rehearsal for the show that I'm doing that opens this Friday.  We were supposed to get out at 8:30/9, and I planned on posting the check-in then..but we didn't get done until 10:30! Ahh!!

So I'm at the end of taking Provera.  Today would be day 9 taking it, no sign of AF yet and the initial cramping I was feeling when I started taking it has gone away too.  I really, really hope it works!

Still sitting here at the tail end of the evil 2WW.  5 more days people!!  5!!  Aren't you all sooooo glad that I shared when AF is supposed to visit?  I know you are.  And ya know what?!  You're welcome.... 

This week I find myself super antsy while waiting for AF.  I keep battling internally with myself about testing.  I want to because I want to know, but I also don't want to have a total meltdown over a BFN.  Because truthfully, if I POAS now and I get a BFN, I'm just going to try and convince myself that it's too early and then when AF shows up I'll be even more angry and sad,  So I think I'm just going to wait for her so that I can blame her for all my woes.  Seems completely rational, right?

Side note: Out of curiosity I ran my EDD.  Um, my EDD would be 12-21-12.  Meaning, I'll be having the Aztec Doomsday baby.  Not really sure how I feel about that

Hi ladies! I'm 10dpo on our TTA cycle. Have to TTA the next one too, so glad things are moving along. Nervous I'm not going to make it through today though. Every hour that goes by, I'm relieved AF hasn't reared her ugly head. I only had a 9 day LP my first post-m/c cycle and last month was a CP, so that was messed up. Just wanting to make it past 10 days.

I tested on April 5th and got my BFP.  We're expecting our sweet baby on December 16th.  Thank you so much for all of the support!  This board is absolutely wonderful and I can't wait to see all of you on the PGAL board soon.  Fingers crossed for all of you!!!

Not too much to update here.  Waiting to O.  CD11.  I'm not sure what's going on, but I bled for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time... my "heavy" day was CD8.  Two days of spotting before AF, and two days after, all told that's 12 days.  I'm thanking my lucky stars that I already have an RE appointment, and it can't come soon enough.

QOTW: One year my brother invited me to go to a baseball game with him on Easter.  About halfway through the game, he asked if I was ready for my traditional "Easter Hot Dog."  Ever since, we've both done our best to have a hot dog on (or around) Easter.

Waiting to O and very grumpy about it. I haven't had a +OPK at all this cycle and I'm on CD 17. I'm hoping next week this time I'll be in the 2WW.

 QOTW:I really don't have any Easter traditions. Growing up, my dad's family would have a big Easter egg hunt for all of us kids, there were 8 grandchildren. But now that we are all grown, and no one speaks to each other. My grandparents, parents, sister and I, (along with sister's BF, and MH), all go out to eat, on the years that DH and I don't go to NC.
