Belly Bandit: did it help? ASAP

Did you find the BB helpful at all? DH is insisting on getting one in the next hour and I'm wondering if it is worth the money. Thanks. Oh, I had a cs on Saturday.

I'm 12 days PP and have been wearing mine since Friday. My stomach is flat already I think its worth it!! It doesn't go down as low as the incision, so you don't have to worry about pulling or rubbing.

It helped me a lot in the first few days to relieve the pain. Wearing it tightly kept the incision from feeling so sore and prevented any waistband from pressing on it.

It also helped flatten my stomach. By the time I stopped wearing it at 2 weeks PP my stomach was still smooshy but flat to my body.

Give yourself a couple days to lose some of the water weight. When I got home from the hospital I only lost 2 lbs!!! I couldn't even get the belly bandit to close around. A few days later it was perfect. I thought I was.going to need a bigger size, but luckily it was just the water retention.

I'm crazy swollen. I had him sat night and as of last night (tues) I weigh the same as I did before I had him. It's painful.

I started wearing mine about 4 days pp.  I stopped wearing it a week afterwards. I mainly used it to help lift the skin flap off my the incision site.  While my stomach is not totally flat (and never was) I am down 34 lbs since 3/28.  I think it helped to push a lot of the extra water out.
