Let me start by mentioning that I pretty much EBF. (I have used formula, but haven't at all for about a month).
I know that Kellymom has all these things about the benefits of breastfeeding, but surely not everyone's research points to the same conclusions.
Does anyone know the opposing research says? I was reading an article (non-scientific) from a lady who BF her 3 children and she was saying that she found out later that breastfeeding "is the same or maybe a little better" than formula feeding.
Who has really done their (non-objective) research and what have you found?
Re: Unbiased research?
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

The second one is from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
I'd consider WHO and AAP pretty non biased.
If you go to pubmed.com you can enter breastfeeding and get a million articles. They are from peer reviewed journals and the evidence is VERY strong that breastfeeding is VASTLY better for your child compared to formula. They aren't biased.
Briefly, they show lower rates of obesity, ear infections, asthma, autoimmune diseases including autoimmune bowel disease, and higher IQ. Many more benefits
If you can't, you can't and no one will judge you, but I think if you can the benefits are quite clear and from non-biased sources.
