P4 Test Question

I had my P4 test done today and got the results shortly thereafter.  My level was an 8.4 which they told me was low.  The test was scheduled for "7 DPO" which they calculated as 7 days after my trigger.

 

I triggered last Monday night and then had the test this morning.  Is that really 7 DPO?

My p4 has been CD21 which for me equates to 7DPO.  That seems odd that you went in a week after trigger when by definition you didn't O until a day or two after.

My Dr says that they want P4 to be at a 10 at a very minimum whether it's a medicated cycle or not.

Are they having you come back to test your P4 again?

My P4 is done a week after trigger as well, so it should be fairly accurate.

Boo.  Well at least my doctor isn't an idiot.  She gave me Crinone - which looks like a fun cramming experience.

I have compounded progesterone bullets, the worst part is the leakage! I don't have many side effects from the vaginal ones - but I've read bad ones on the oral progesterone supplements.

I started Endometrin Friday and so far discharge is the worst/only thing I've noticed.

I also do a P4 draw at 7dpTrigger

I just started Crinone last night. I already can't wait to be done.

I always have my BW done a week after I trigger.

I had my P4 done once. It was 7 days after my IUI. They won't test me again because i was really low so i take the suppositories every cycle now. The leakage is gross. I also get hot flashes and headaches. This cycle for IVF I will be taking Crinone. Just invest in panty liners and you should be fine.
