XP: Update, no babies yet

Well the last 5 days have been a roller-coaster for me! All of the docs were in agreement to deliver the babies early, until the weekend mfm came on and she decided it was not worth having premature babies, that they could give me more drugs to manage the cholestasis symptoms and keep a close watch on babies.  Her goal is to make it to 36 weeks which will be next Thursday.  They still kept me in the hospital until yesterday though to keep an eye on the numbers but now I am home, thankful for my own bed.  I am going for nst's 3 times a week now, and have an u/s on wed.  Next week they will do an amniocentesis to check on babies lungs and then deliver if all is a-ok.  I am happy that I get to cook these babies a bit longer, but the back and forth between the doctors was really frustrating.  But ultimately the mfm had the final say and she is the expert so my doc says who is he to argue!

Wow that does sound like a roller coaster. You've done so well to get here but I'm glad they're staying put a little while longer. Best of luck!

Good job on keeping them in mama sounds like you have a great care team. 

I am having BPP's and NST's 2x a week now, too.
