Hey ladies! My DD is going to be 1 in a week and i'm due in November...2u2 here we come. My DD currently uses a paci for naps/sleeping but she will fall asleep without it sometimes, we are still full on using bottles but she takes a sippy cup with water and does really well with it and we are nearly weaned into cow's milk. ok, so ehre are my questions: 1. How are you doing everything with the shear exhaustion of the first tri? 2. when are you/did you go to full sippys/cups and ditch the bottle? 3. Do I ditch the paci at the same time as the bottle? 4. This is aways down the road but will you keep both LO's in cribs for a while or transition oldest to a toddler bed?

Re: Due Nov! My LO is just 1! Just a few questions!
Hi! My LOs are 21 months apart. To answer your questions:
1. How are you doing everything with the shear exhaustion of the first tri? Just take it day by day. The best part about having a just turned 1 year old while in the 1st tri is that they take nap(s)! Take advantage and rest when you can!
2. when are you/did you go to full sippys/cups and ditch the bottle? We ditched the bottle right at 1 year.
3. Do I ditch the paci at the same time as the bottle? No, DD had her paci until she turned 2(just for sleeping).
4. This is aways down the road but will you keep both LO's in cribs for a while or transition oldest to a toddler bed? We have 2 cribs. We just made DD's into a toddler bed a week ago. Having 2 cribs was a life saver for me. Now that she's in a toddler bed and can wander around in her room, she rarely takes naps:(
Mine are less than a year, so my first tri with the second, he was just sleeping through the night. I slept when he napped and he wasn't mobile.
We went cold turkey with the bottle the day after their first birthdays.
Neither kid used a pacifier.
Keep them in cribs as long as possible. You'll thank me later.
