Has anyone got pregnant after a Miscarriage?

I recently micarried and a D&C...we plan to wait the amount of time our dr. tells us before we start trying again but I was wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant shortly after a miscarriage and if so, how did things turn out? I am afraid of miscarring again regardless of the amount of time it takes me to get pregnant again?

 I got pregnant with my first child while on birth control and was only off the pill 1 month when I got pregnant with my second. we found out in early feb. and I lost in late march?

I don't plan to get back on the pill just use different sources of birthcontrol?

I mentioned this on the Pregnancy after Loss and someone mentioned the Miscarriage/pregnancy Loss board so I thought I would ask here?

Thanks for your response...I was suppose to be around 8 weeks when I miscarried but the  baby was measuring 5 weeks? I am tried to work on my fear and actually started journaling my feelings as it seems to help when I write our what I am feeling. maybe that will help with you. I kept a journal the enitre time I was pregnant with my son so I thought why not with this one too...just wish it turned out different?

 Just wondering...when you went for your first few ultra sounds did everything look like it was suppose to? My dr. kept telling me I was "early" and never would talk about a due date? I had a gut feeling something wasn't right...just didn't know it would end the way it did....

I have not yet gotten pg post-loss.  We are still in the waiting period.

Nearly all the women I know who have had losses went on to have successful, healthy pregnancies.  Some of those women didn't even wait a full cycle before getting pg again & it has worked out well for them.

Sadly, a couple women I know had more losses before sustaining a healthy pg.  And of course some women never do.

It is really hard to think about some of those possibilities.  I am really focused on the positive right now, so I just hope & pray my loss was isolated.

My SIL miscarried and was pregnant again 3 weeks later. Her DS is now 6 years old. We plan on trying for another one once everything is complete wth this m/c. I don't know how to actually try as far as charts and all that goes. I am a little nervous because I am 35 and have now had a m/c that my chances of another one may be higher than normal...

I had a m/c before my son and then got pregnant with him a few weeks later without having a period.  that pregnancy was fine and he is perfectly healthy!  I just had my 3rd m/c and i plan on trying again right away.  Even though it makes n=me nervous, I really dont see any reason to wait.  My doctor didnt seem to think so either.  good luck!!

I had a miscarriage in December (see siggy) and while I waited for my HCG levels to return to less than 5, I did not have a period before getting pregnant again.  That pregnancy resulted in another miscarriage.  No one can say for sure if that was the reason why, but I'm going to wait 2-3 cycles this time before TTC again.

I haven't TTC since my loss, but wanted to share my sister's experience...  she was TTC for around 8 or 9 months, got PG, then miscarried early (5 weeks, I think).  She was PG again less than 2 months after her miscarriage and now her son is 3 months old.
