Hi Moms,
We went to BRU yesterday to order the toddler rails for our LOs Baby Cache Uptown crib - he's been jumping out of the crib latley. We were told this crib is being discountinued and that they were not avalible. I'm wondering if anyone out there has run into this and how they have worked around this. I've emailed the company with this same question to see what they have to say. I found a convertible crib toddler rail on Amazon that seems to work on Baby Cache cribs, but I would love any additional thoughts too.
Thanks!
Re: Baby Cache Uptown - no toddler rails avalible, help?
Do you have the conversion rails for the full size bed? I am only ordering the full size conversion rails instead of both those and toddler rails. The price of the toddler rails are (in my case) more expensive than just going out and buying a toddler bed.
So we are using the crib, then buying a toddler bed and storing her crib untill she's big enough for the full size bed....And that is only IF we decide to use a toddler bed. Might just skip it and go to full size right away.
Have you checked on ebay or craigslist for rails?
We had the same problem. However, knowing the baby cache is made by Munire I ordered a Munire toddler rail (I found one online with free shipping).
It fit perfectly no new holes needed or anything! The color isn't a perfect match but it isn't noticeable except up close.
We have the Baby cache heritage crib in cherry and ordered the Munire Newport toddler rail in cherry. PERFECT!
Check the Munire website - the Newport and heritage are almost identical! It looks to me like the uptown and urban are basically the same design as well.
