Broken Uppababy... need stroller rec

My Uppababy Vista just broke! The frame completely snapped and it's out of warranty. Ugh. I'm working with them to see if we can just buy a new frame, but until then...

We live in the city (Dublin) and I use my stroller every single day - it's my only mode of transportation. I don't want to spend tons on a new fancy stroller, especially since I'm pregnant (just 5 weeks) and will (hopefully) want a double stroller in December. However, I need a big basket to carry groceries, decent wheels to go over cobblestone, etc. 

Any suggestions?

We have a BJ City Classic and LOVE it. They don't make the Classic any more, but the Select is basically the same thing. A friend of mine just got the double Select and really loves it, too. You may want to try that out, there are a lot of configurations and you can just use one seat for the time being and switch to 2 when the baby comes.

I think the BJ City Select would be a great choice! It's great for a single stroller...  then all you have to do is buy the additional seat for a double!

Ditto the city select.  It can be a single or double.  I use mine all the time and the basket is huge.

In Dublin? Something with better shocks and softer wheels. And narrower. The Select is huge. Try the Phil and Ted's Explorer.

We LOVE our Phil and Ted's.  And, it converts to a double stroller by adding a jump seat either to the lower back, or to the front.  It handles wonderfully on all of the surfaces we have taken it on.  We have the DASH and couldn't be happier.
