I was speaking to someone today at Christian Adoption Consultants. I've been trying to find information on NY state laws regarding adoptions. I found something that mentioned that the use of a consultant is not permitted in NY....does anyone know if this is true?

Yes, that is absolutely true. No national consultants or facilitators. Only agencies are allowed. I know there's a provision for lawyers, but that's separate from facilitators.
