I hope this isnt too graphic...I was out for a run earlier and shortly into the run I felt a gush of fluid come out of me. When I got home I immediately went to the bathroom and my pantiliner was completely filled with brown fluid. I am around 10 weeks pregnant. I called maternity services at my hospital and they told me that because it was brown that it isn't as concerning but I am still really worried. Anyone else have this happen? I have been instructed to rest and drink lots of water.

Re: Scared...
I haven't had a gush but did have brown spotting at 9-10 weeks with my daughter and everything was fine. Hang in there! Hope all is well!
do you run normally? like before you were pregnant did you run?
I run regularly and do reformer Pilates regularly and I haven't had any problems with spotting after. The only thing I did notice was when I was doing an oblique exercise on the reformer, I felt a weird pull in my pelvis and it freaked me out. I asked my doctor and she said oblique exercises in the 1st trimester are not a good idea because you can get a separated placenta?! holy moly that's scary as H3LL!
I had brown fluid with my 1st pregnancy-not after exercise...woke up 1 morning with it---and it was the beginning of a miscarriage.
T&P for you!!! LAY ON YOUR BACK with your legs up! and yes drink a lot of water. I also personally wouldn't have sex for the next 2-3days just to make sure. (I'm not a doctor-that's just my personal advice)

I think she will be fine, but you can't say "as long as its brown and no cramping I'd say you're fine." because I had brown and no cramping, and it was the beginning of a miscarriage for me. I didn't get cramping until the spotting turned red and I was "Actively" bleeding. Everyone is different, and I understand that...but you CAN have brown spotting and it be a miscarriage--it happened to me!
