Just wondering if anyone here has been successful at all with an injection cycle? I have done 3 rounds of clomid and still no ovulation. I just had a D&C to remove some polyps and have an appointment with an endocrinologist to see why my horomone levels are so low...Has anyone else gone through a super ovulation cycle and had success?? and what should I expect with the endocrinologist? Thanks Ladies!

I had success with my first round of inj + TI. 

Clomid never worked for me while ttc#1 &2.  I would respond to clomid, but it never resulted in a pg.

I felt like my RE was really pushing me to do treatments I wasn't quite ready for, so I think it is good to be as informed as possible in advance and feel comfortable saying no.

I'm a certified nurse midwife. I had 3 failed IUI's, and finally got pregnant on my second IVF. I know someone who got pregnant with injectables & timed intercourse- but it depends on your diagnosis & how mych you've been through. Its my professional opinion (as well as having been an infertility patient) that the injections are serious doses & I would want to maximize my chances with IVF if I were going to expose myself to them- so I wouldn't do it- but I wish you luck deciding & getting knocked up!

I had success with injectables but also had some serious (i.e.: life threatening) complications.  My diagnosis was severe PCOS + MFI.  We had done 6 failed IUIs with letrozol before trying injectables and IUI.  My complications were not at all the norm, but I would definitely weigh my options carefully before deciding.  It was a tough road but worth it

You got a couple of scary replies there, but injectables + IUI is, as you probably know, a very common next step after Clomid, and there are lots of success stories from this protocol here.

Clomid didn't make me ovulate, either, and I remember being so worried that Gonal-f wouldn't work. But it did. It's kind of trial and error -- the first time we tried it, it took a lot of Gonal-f to produce a single follicle. The second time, the RE switched up the doses and got a much better response with a smaller total amount of drugs. You will be closely monitored and your doses will be adjusted as you go.

My twins are the result of our first round of injectables+IUI. I didn't have any problems on it at all other than some tiredness/regular fertility drug side effects.
