i want a baby

our friend is due in early feb...i am so happy for her as she had some scar tissue removed and wasn't sure she'd get pregnant on her own (she's also 35) but she did the first cycle after the procedure

on the other hand, one of my friends is trying to adopt with his partner.  they just seriously started the process in June maybe and they could literally have a kid like next week.  i think it's unfair that they can just walk in and get a baby when normal people have to wait 9 mos.  blah. 

ok, my tipsy rant over.  i just realize that this is probably not mine and AF is going to rear her ugly head again this week sometime.
