how much breast milk?

if i want DH to cup feed our 8 day old breast milk, how much do you think we should try?  she nurses every 3 hours and she weighs about 6lbs 3ozs.

I breastfeed and I pump (bottlefeed).  At one week old my LO was eating anywhere between 25-40mL each feeding, but she was also a big baby at 10 pounds.  I would put 25mL in a bottle and see how much she eats.  It's trial and error and each feeding is different.

for an 8 day old, probably 1-2 oz... those little nurser formula things for newborns have 2 oz in them.

Start small, maybe 25 mL.  Mine is 2 wks old (6 lbs 14 oz) and is taking about  30-40 mL per feeding.
