Easter

Is anyone doing anything special for their angels for Easter?  I've made an Easter basket and put a plush monkey in it and then got plastic eggs that look like sports balls and I'm going to have our family write little messages and put them in the eggs.

I did this last year!  The I used racecar shaped eggs and filled it the Easter basket with flowers and hotglued the eggs in various places.  I was so proud of it.  Honestly, I've been so exhausted I haven't had time to think about it.  *bad mother*  But I'm glad you mentioned it!  I will be going out tomorrow in search of a new Easter basket for Logan.

I'm getting daffodils and dressing them up with some glittery plastic eggs and butterflies and some green check ribbon.  Unfortunately our cemetery is pretty strict about what types of decorations can be left at the graves (which I understand, but it's hard to find something baby appropriate).

Thanks everyone for sharing what you are doing.  I did try to look at the store for something, but it made me so sad that I kind of gave up.  I did get a really nice (fake)  cemetery flower arrangement to take to the cemetery in easter colors with a pretty blue bow.  We will bring fresh flowers too.

We're not doing anything really for him specifically on Easter, but tomorrow we're going to go the botanical gardens where my mom had a plaque put in for him, it's in the children's garden, we haven't seen it yet because they just put it in last week.  I don't know, I just couldn't bring myself to buy him an Easter basket knowing it would stay unopened... I guess it's like how I couldn't bring myself to hang him a stocking for the same reason, just makes me too sad.
