I received an email from our DE coordinator that said that our donor can't do the scheduled dates because of a trip she has planned. She requested we push it out a few more weeks.
Ugh... why can't this be easy?!
Our nurse seems upset because the donor had provided the agency and our clinic with "blackout dates" that she absolutely wouldn't be able to fly out for ER and the clinic kept those dates in mind when setting the schedule. This trip she's taking was not mentioned. So now our nurse has gone back to her to ask her to reschedule her trip so we can stick to the original schedule, but of course my IF-damaged mind goes and starts to think the worst!
What if the clinic loses trust in her and rejects her (when we first started the DE process 3 years ago, we were informed that they have done that in the past.)
What if our donor doesn't want to cancel her trip so she just says forget it and backs out?
I hate this!!!

Well, I overreacted for nothing....
Our nurse just called us back and said one of two things will happen.
If the donor/agency can find a clinic in the city in which she is traveling to to get her blood work and monitoring done, our cycle will only be pushed out 3 days.
If she can't find a clinic, then we are sticking with our original cycle schedule.
So, it all works out and I'm so relieved! The nurse said the donor sounded really sincere and wanted to do what works best for DH and I, so I thought that was very nice.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p

5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
IVF - May - BFN
6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
10/13 - BFP!!

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days
Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.
