Tonight - Nothing. I have pork chops that need to be grilled. The kids are wiped out after a full week of running around at camp. We have a lot of stuff on DVR that needs to be watched.
Tomorrow - kids swimming lessons, drop off donations to a local charity, paint your own pottery visit, lunch, and perhaps some geocaching.
Sunday - Easter baskets/egg hunt in the AM and then going on a hike at a local park. Grill out in the afternoon.
Monday - I am off because the kids don't have school. I think L is going to take the day off too. No idea what we are going to do. I want to take the kids to BunnyLand - a farm with slides, hay jump, hayrides, etc.
Passover Seder tonight and tomorrow. Church and Easter dinner at our house on Sunday, though I told DW last night I'm cancelling family Easter and its just going to be us and the kids (crazy family drama).
Sat: Drop Ann at work, run usual Saturday errands, finish cleaning. After Ky's nap I am going back to Ann's work to help her get ready for the big wigs coming from coporate office in TX to see her new store sometime next week. Her DM left a HUGE to do list and some of it are little things (like clean appliances and make the spaces look homey) that I can do while Ky colors and plays with her babies. Probably take out and a movie, maybe eat out if we are not too grimy? Color eggs, I am making homemade dye this year so we shall see how it turns out!
Sun: Easter with 1/2 of Ann's family! My mom and dad are in AL this week so my family is not doing anything for the holiday. My MIL is taking Ky and watching her on Monday so we do not need to pay the babysitter an extra day since my mom is out of town and cannot watch her later this week like she normally does. Ann and I talked about going to my mom's houyse and cleaning the playroom as a surprise for when she gets back but I get the feeling that will more than likely fall to me one day this week...Leftovers for dinner and early to bed since Ann has a crazy schedule next week!
We're not going to do a ton since J works am shifts Saturday ans Sunday.
Tonight - quick and easy dinner and hopefully get some laundry done. Bed early.
Saturday - do some light picking up around the house with another quick and easy dinner. Bed early.
Sunday - Will be one of two things. 1. Have a cookout with a few close friends. 2. Make fajitas or order Chinese and then go out for a few drinks (a bar around here has live jazz and great wine specials on sunday nights).
Monday - J finally has off! So, we'll lounge and probably just hang out around the house.
Tonight: Home to work on packing and organizing. There is still no word on the house (darn government review!), but I'm going to stay hopeful that it will happen next week when I'm out of town for work.
Tomorrow: More packing and work around the house during the day. Then head to my gf's for the rest of the weekend. We'll grab dinner and maybe go for a nice walk if the weather holds.
Sunday: A lazy day at home with K. Brunch in and movies and hanging out and enjoying time just the two of us.
Monday: I am taking the day off since the meeting I'm leaving for on Tuesday is Tuesday-Saturday. K has promised to take me swimwear shopping for our upcoming trip to Cancun since I only have one suit and probably need a few. Then I'll head home to pick up E from school and spend time with her before my work trip.
Tonight we're having a friend or two over and will probably order take out, hang out, and maybe movie watch or something along those lines. Our apartment is a disaster and I'm not quite sure why I thought it was a good idea to have people over.
Tomorrow we're re-scheduled for our fancy dinner that we never ended up doing last weekend, but I'm not 100% sure whether we'll do it this week or not. Hopefully even if we don't go to the restaurant we were planning we'll still do something along the lines of a date because I think we both could use it. We'll also dye Easter eggs.
Sunday we're going to go to church and then make an Easter dinner at home just for the two of us. Ham, cheesy potatoes, and challah most likely. How homemade challah became an Easter food I'm not quite sure.
Happy Passover and Easter to everyone! CT, I'm sorry to hear you're having family drama, but I hope that you're still able to enjoy both holidays with your immediate family!
TTC with PCOS since July 2011.
IVF Oct/Nov 2012
Beta #1 = 77, Beta #2 = 190, Beta #3 = 1044
Cautiously optimistic.
Nothing concrete. Sadly, we're skipping Easter festivities with both sides of the family cuz the babies are still pretty small, it's held at a tiny house (and it's too cold to be outside), & ppl can't keep their hands to themselves.
We went to church yesterday to skip the maddness this wknd . It was quite busy for a thurs eve tho, I was surprised.
I think our only goal for this weekend is sleep, to try & get back to sanity. Isabella has reflux & Gabriel has colic. This means many night episodes of absolute inconsoleable screaming. We're both wiped. Last night was the worst. You know it's bad when you finally doze off & then wake up with A headache.
Hope everyone has a great weekend--Happy Easter!!

Big hugs-- we've been there. Both of our kiddos had really bad reflux (though the RockNPlays, Prevacid, and Colic Calm did seem to help some). Shoot me a PM if you need someone to talk to or just a midnight text buddy-- I'd be happy to send you my phone number.

Tonight: C is taking the Kiddos to the spaghetti dinner at their daycare (the Kiddos LOVE pasta). I have been sick since last night and am sitting this outting out.
Tomorrow: Eye appointment; Little Man a haircut; JC Penney clothing jaunt; van servicing; and maybe some egg coloring!
Sunday: Church; brunch at the Pastor's house; an egg hunt; (and if we didn't color eggs on Saturday, maybe we can do a few before baths and bedtime).
Today: nothing much planned. Maybe a movie or a journey to the Asian market for some specialty ingredients.
Tomorrow: I'm volunteering at a local food bank while C gets some work done. In the afternoon we'll do her taxes, head to the library to replace my library card and pick up some museum passes, and come home and cook dinner together.
Sunday: No real Easter plans for us, as we don't have a church or any family here. Hopefully a visit to the Museum of Science and Industry. Dinner with friends of mine from college.

Tonight & tomorrow I'm trying to "finish" the house as much as possible - getting the rest of the pictures hung and sorting/organizing some random piles we still have. I want to get everything in place and take pictures for our long-distance friends so they can see the house. I'm also hoping my dad will bring his lawnmower over tomorrow so I can mow, or figure out what is wrong with ours so I can mow with that. We'll probably go to See's to get Easter candy for ourselves.
On Sunday my BFF is coming to visit! Yaaaaaaaay! I'm so excited. She gets in late morning and we're having dinner with my parents (I requested ham and scalloped potatoes). Other than that no plans.
Re: Weekend Plans?
No plans except for Easter, I'm sick and it's not getting better and J works today and Saturday.
We are doing Easter at our house, our yard is great for an egg hunt so we decided to host.
