Canada question

Has anyone ordered from GMD to Canada?

They use UPS to ship... and we got burned with that ordering for our wedding last year... (extra charges on delivery)... 

Were you surprised by shipping charges?  Or do you know of a Canadian based site that sells them?

I didn't think they were even willing to ship to Canada.

I bought Rearz prefolds, which were great. And made in Canada. And easy to find - well.ca ships for free on any size order. I wouldn't order from GMD.

ETA: It costs $32.95 to SHIP prefolds to Canada. Seriously, buy elsewhere.

If you're looking for prefolds I would just look at other Canadian retailers, they sell great quality, and you'd pay much less.

diapersupply.ca is a website that I found. It seems to have a good selection, and they're based in Edmonton, so they definitely ship in Canada Also, if you're local they accept cash, and you don't need them to ship.

Finding a local shop to skip shipping is great advice - I often order from the one near me mostly because she's near me.

But I'm just in love with well.ca generally - I always find a bunch of things I need in addition to diapering stuff.

I second the Well.ca recs (for all drugstore needs).  My go-to diaper shop is www.theclothdiapershop.com, they are in Niagara Falls.

I used bummis prefolds and found they worked well.  I had looked at GMD too, but no way was I paying for that shipping.

I have bought a ton of stuff from them too. They are great to work with!
