I am such a newb when it ones to all of this IVF lingo. I went in for my suppression check on Wednesday and when my RE called she told me it looked like I'd Be ready to start stims on Saturday.
Awesome news, but I was expecting more information about my ultrasound results. For my next ultrasound I'd like to know WHAT to ask so that I can be more informed going forward. What do you all hope to hear when you get your U/S results? Can you give me some questions to ask? TIA!
Re: Help!
Usually if you are ready for stims its because nothing exciting is going on. The only thing I can think of is that he could show you how thick your lining is at baseline...But other than that, there arent really results to report.
Just wait a few days on stims...then there will be lots going on in there.
For the initial one, they were checking to see if my ovaries were ready (at rest, no cysts) and to look at my lining and measure that to see if we were a go for stims. They can also see your CM as you progress, it shows up really dark like your follies will. There isn't much to see for the initial scan, that is the point. The b/w is just as important too - mostly E2 but I think some look at progesterone also..
For my scans they always look at my lining, look at both ovaries and count and measure follies to see if I am on target or adjustments need to be made with my meds. They have moved my cervix before because it likes to hide up in my left shoulder, but I am not sure that is necessary until ER
I have only done 1 IUI and 1 IVF though so some of the other ladies may have more ideas. GL to you!

Perfect! This is helpful. I really love my RE but she's the type that doesn't always offer up info so I definitely need to know what to ask.
FSH is measured at the beginning as well and is extremely important for making sure you're on the right protocol.
Good Luck!
