Seriously?!

So my grandmothers friend whom she says im like her granddaughter called me today and we started talking. Either she was told about what happened and forgot ( she's really old) or my grandmother who is also really old and has alzeihmers forgot to tell her. Anyhow she called to ask me if I'd had my baby already! I was like wtf?!!!! Yes I did. About 3 months ago. I go on to tell her what happened. She says she was really sorry. And then at the end tells me " gosh sweetie it seems to me you are never going to be able to have a baby. First you have a m/c and now this. " I didn't curse at her because she is ancient and my momma always told me to respect your elders. But seriously?!!!! What kind of comment is that? Obviously I bawled my eyes out. This would definitely fall into stupid things people say. Ugh!! I'm bitter right now.

That sucks, I'm sorry. It's probably better that you kept your cool though. Good for you & big hugs for having to endure that.

Some people are just clueless as to what to say (and not to say) to us. That sucks that you had to hear and deal with that. Big ol' hugs to you. We need a handbook to give to everyone in our lives with DO and DO NOTS.
