Carriers (wrap) and crying

Perhaps a silly question, but 5 week old DD cries when I put her in the Moby or Mei Tai - always. However, she usually settles down within 5 minutes. I am never quite sure when she's just tired and when she is actually uncomfortable in there. Is it safe to assume that if she falls asleep she's not too uncomfortable? I never to know when to call it quits and pull her out and when to ride it out...

I'd say if she's falling asleep, it's fine. Are you moving around after putting her in? That always helped DS settle.

a bit of bouncing always settled my little ones down.  Are you using the carrier with her legs froggied inside?  Some babies prefer to be legs out even when they are tiny.
