Ideas for 2nd bday present from those that ask?

So, people are starting to ask!  So far I have though of coloring books, a magnadoodle, little table and chairs (big gift from family), a little golf set, a little tball set and that is it.  Any other inexpensive ideas your LO enjoys?

How about an experience together? Going to the park or the zoo, making something together- something that can be memorable!

Tag Junior, Easel, Paints, Play Doh, Books, Small Puzzles, Chalk, Bubbles, Toddler Digital Camera (there's one for $30 on Amazon that's fantastic, Discovery Kids Camera), Clothes with his favorite cartoon characters on them, Tent.

Hope that helps! It's hard to know what to get a 2yo because some are still interested in 12-18mo toys, and some are already on to 3yo toys. I always try to make sure to ask for a few things that are beyond her current stage so there's something challenging she can play with in 6 months.

With our son's 2nd birthday we just had family at his party and with his invites we sent out post cards with the info that our investment adviser gave us so they all had the option to just add money to his college account instead.  It was perfect most just gave a very small gift of a little toy car or bubbles and then sent money into his account they all thought this was great.  The last thing we needed was more toys in the house that never get played with enough.
