Worst test day and EDD imaginable this cycle-cursed!

Let's just say after 4 miscarriages, feeling superstitious about anything and everything happens. Unfortunately in this case I'm going to have a demon child who is born the last day of the world, WTF?  I would take any EDD as long as I get a take home baby, but this is not making me optimistic.

Test day: Friday the 13th

EDD: 12/21/12  (Mayan calendars last day)

    Those are my dates too. I never put two and two together about the "significance" of either date. Lovely!

    My monitoring appt is on the 13th at 3. I'm taking it as a good sign. 
    TTC #1 since 11/10 | Diagnosed with PCOS 11/28/11 | Lap 1/20/12: stage 2 endo & cyst removal
    Clomid- No response
    Metformin 1500 mg Femara 5mg + Trigger + TI Round 2 = BFP!
    Beta 13DPO: 115, Beta 16dpo: 561 BFP Chart

    Well, the "good" dates that I've had for testing and would be EDD haven't worked so maybe birthing the spawn of satan is my only shot Big Smile

    Look on the bright side.  If the world does indeed on December 22nd then at least you'll be happy and pregnant for the rest of time.  And if the world does not end then you can make all sorts of puns about how the baby is "a whole new world" etc.  Or if you go into labor on 12/22 people can say "it's just labor, not the end of the world!" It could be fun.  Maybe your shower could be apocolypse themed. Fingers crossed for you.

    OMG, that's my day to check, too and I totally didn't know that it was Friday the 13th....I felt my heart sunk :(  

    Mar-Apr-May/12: All 3 IUI (w/ Femara) - BFN

    May/12 IVF journey in the works...
    IVF #1 w/ ICSI #1 (Gonal, Menopur & Ganirelix)
    5/29-6/18: BCP, 6/21-6/27: Stim, 6/30: ER
    7/5: ET 2 5-days blastocysts are transferred, none made to freeze :(
    7/17: Beta #1 - 616!!, 7/23: Beta #2 - 6818
    8/2: u/s #1 - a healthy seahorse found & one empty sac, 8/16: u/s #2 - one peanut! HB @ 180
    10/30: It's a girl!!! EDD: 3/23/13

    My Beta is on Friday the 13th too, BUt i see it as a good date since my sister is getting married April 13th, 2013!!

     

    ME- 35    DH- 40
    TTC #1 
    IVF#1 w ICSI- 4/20/11 ER, 6 Eggs, 4 Fertilized, 4/25/11 5 day ET, 2 blasts- 5/4- Beta= BFN- No Frosties 

    IVF #2 w ICSI-6/21/11 ER, 4 Eggs, 2 Fertilized, 6/24/11 3 day ET 2 embryos- Beta 7/5/11- BFN- No frosties.
    NEW RE
    IUI #1- started 50ius of follistim 1/25, IUI 2/3/12 - BFN
    AMH-0.73- DOR 2/2012

    IUI #2- 3/17/12 started 200ius of Follistim , 3/24/12 added ganirelix, 225ius Follistim and 75ius of repronex, IUI- 3/30/12, Beta April 13, 2012-BFN

    AMH tested again 1/2013- 1.4!!!!
    IUI #3- 1/14/13 started 200ius of Follistim, 1/20/13 added menopur and ganirelix, IUI 1/25/13. Positive HPT 2/6/13- Beta #1- 193- BFP!!! 2/8/13-Beta#2-426.6
    2/26 ultrasound #1- TWINS!
    Delivered a healthy beautiful baby boy on 10/17/13 10ls. 2 ounces

    TTC #2 
    AMH .75 VERY POOR RESPONDER
    IUI #4 cancelled due to only one egg responding 
    IUI#5 cancelled on CD 10,  (3) follicules were still very small even on 300 IU's of Follistim. Also found fluid in my uterus from C-section scar
    BFP- 8/9/15 
    Beta #1 8/10/15 13DPO-   9.2 (fingers crossed this sticks)
    Beta #2 8/12/15 15DPO   39- progesterone 18 
    Beta #3 8/14/15    111- progesterone 17.5
    Ultrasound August 31-

    I am totally freaked about the world ending Embarrassed But if we all make it you will hopefully have a new baby in time for Christmas. Also I see the number 13 as being lucky. Hope it brings you luck!!

    Mine is too!  And I'm hoping that's good luck for me considering I was married on Friday the 13th!  I also share my wedding anniversary with my parents who were married on the same exact day so Friday the 13th has been nothing but good luck in our family Smile

    My choices for our next RE appointment were either the 12th or 13th, I said to the receptionist I'm not up for the curse of the 13th.. Although, I'm sure it's no different than any other day of the year if I'm going to hear bad news.
