Post-partum allergies?

Hi ladies

i have just rediscovered this board after being gone since my son was born. Anyway, i was wondering if any of you have gained or lost allergies since being pregnant? i have always had terrible seasonal allergies (trees, grass,etc.) and had to get weekly shots for years. when i got pregnant, they seemed to disappear and have still not been that bad, which i love.

the bad part is that since i gave birth, i have developed new food allergies (never had them before). I had a bad reaction to some vegetables while still in the hopsital, and have since had reactions to beer and wine (so upsetting).

just wondering if any of you have had this problem? i am wondering if these new allergies are permanent or if they could go away in the future...

I had seasonal allergies, bad especially in the fall. Then I got pregnant with B & I never had another allergy issue for 5 years until I got pregnant with #3 then they came back.

I have never had any allergy issues whatsoever and was fine during and after having DD, but since having DS I have developed seasonal allergies and severe GI issues with bananas.  Its possible that they will slowly go away, or go away the next time we go through a hormonal shift (cycle starting back up, another pregnancy, menopause) or its possible they will be here for the long haul.  

I'm just glad my first pregnancy kicked my migraines to the curb and they haven't been back (knock on wood)!
