On March 6th I had a lap to excise Stage IV endo. My left ovary had a small endometromia that was removed and the Dr. unglued my ovary and tube from my uterus. The surgery was performed on CD 6. After surgery I had some minor AF like bleeding for 5 days post surgery. New cycle started on Mar 28th. AF was very heavy this month but tapered off around cd 5.
It's CD 9 and I now had an increase in bleeding, still very light, but a little more then just spotting. I did Femara/Letrozole on CD 3. I'm having a twinge of pain on my lower left side, but nothing abnormal for me when I'm approaching O. Although I was hoping surgery would have fixed that problem.
Do you think this bleeding is normal under the circumstances? I have a call in with the nurse, just curious if anyone has experienced this.
ETA: Normally my cycles only last 3-4 days and it's been that way for the past ten years.

Re: AF after Lap
I hope your nurse can give you some insight.
I've never had a lap but whenever I've had mid-cycle bleeding it's been because of polyps which were removed via hysteroscopy.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

They did a selective HSG (dye and catheter) and my tubes were open and they didn't mention any polyps. I do have a small fibroid on the exterior of my uterus. They didn't touch it, so I don't think the bleeding is related.
When are you going to put up a ticker?

The nurse called and said she thinks it fine. As long as nothing is foul smelling, not carrying a temp and I'm not bent over in pain, I'm good to go.
I pushed mowed the lawn yesterday so maybe I just pulled something that wasn't quite healed over yet.
