Speech pathologist. I have 3 part time jobs so my hours are wacky. M T 830-330, W flexible, usually 830-330 unless I have meetings or an evaluation to do. Thursday 830-230, and Friday 1130-3. Wed-Fri jobs are an hour commute, so add a couple hours to my day. I also spend time at home on nights/weekends planning and writing reports.

Physiotherapist. When I returned to work I wanted to go PT (30hr/week) The trade off was some wonky hours. Mon 7:30-3:30, Tue 12pm -8 pm, Wed 10-5, Thursday 7:30-2:30. I don't take lunches and I take Fridays off.
Auditor, so I work whatever's necessary to get the audit done by the deadline. Generally do 4 companies per year with most weeks being 40-50 hours and 3-4 months of 55-79 hours per week.
I'm a paralegal with a family law firm. Hours are pretty flexible - generally 9 to 5 although I usually never work that. Usually come in late and then work late. And if its mediation or trial weeks, I work early and then also work late. But if its a slow week, I'll go home early and come in late! If things come up with my little one, I also have the option to work from home. My firm is very family friendly which is amazing and my co-workers are awesome and willing to help with any slack should something come up in my mom-duties. I love the flexibility my position and firm provides - wouldn't trade it for anything and helps me to feel like I have a good balance of work/family!
This was so interesting! Sorry I'm late to the party..
I work in program management and planning. I am part time - core hours of 9 am - 3pm Mon- Thursday with some night time catch up work required from home. I arrive earlier some days to attend meetings.
Orthopedic surgery physician assistant. My day starts between 630 and 7 depending how many new patients came in overnight and end when surgery does....usually between 7-11p, no set schedule. Plus 1-2 weekends of call/month. I'm envious of anyone who has fairly regular hours.
Re: What do you do for work?
