Late Term and Child Loss

A little bit of the old me...

I have played soccer since I was four, in college, and in several adult leagues until I got pregnant. I stepped back on the field tonight for the first time and played an indoor game. I was a step slower than usual, but it felt really good and familiar to be out there. I was able to feel like "my old self" for about an hour. Just wanted to share - hope everyone has a good night!

  • I'm so glad that you could have that experience for yourself. Sometimes I feel guilty about having those happy moments, but we can't do that.

  • That's great!  I did something similar this weekend when I was in a choral concert with my old HS group.  It feels good to reconnect with something that was such a big part of you for so many years.
