Parker won't eat solids from me, but will from my husband??

What the crap is that about?  When I try to feed him, he gags and cries.

When my DH feeds him, he eats fine.  He ate more today than he's eaten since we started...and didn't gag until the end when he was done.

He's EBF, and really hasn't been given regular bottles.  Maybe once a week (sometimes less, sometimes more)?  We did struggle getting him to even take a bottle at all...but since we found a winner, everyone tells me that he is taking them fine.  He won't take a bottle from me at all.

What gives?  Is this an EBF thing?  Caroline never gave me any problems with solids...so I'm sort of at a loss.

I'll bet anything it's a BF thing... My DS went through a phase where he did the exact same thing... Wouldn't take anything from me that wasn't the breast. ANYTHING It passed after a couple of weeks of me regularly offering.

Braley was like that.  He got over it after a few months, and when I weaned at 10 months, it was even better.  Little boys ; )  love the boob so much.

I would guess you are right with the link to EBF. I didn't have that issue with H, but he was a solids LOVER...

Now, on the other hand, he HAPPILY pees on the potty at daycare, but throws fits when I try to put him on it at home. Explain that one.
