I don't love the name Ophelia (names that end in -a feel a little "frilly" IMO) I really like Ophelie but what are your opinions? Do you know any Ophelies?
*We will not be living in the US by the time my first starts school so I'm not particularly worried about how the name goes over in American schools.
Re: Ophelie?
I adore Ophelia
but Ophelie how do you pronounce that "oh-feel" or "oh-feel-ee" ?

agreed!
Is it pronounced O-FEEL-ee? Or OFE-eh-lee?
I really don't like either. An emphasis on "feel-y" sounds creepy and an emphasis on "Ofe" sounds wrong too.

To those who asked, it's o-FAY-lee.
OP, I actually like the name. However, I think it needs the accent mark to be pronounced correctly.
