Going Crazy!!

It's been a week since Hadley had the big blood draw that had to be sent to UCSD for confirmed diagnosis of cystinosis.  We're going crazy waiting for the results!

A couple of new friends I've made in the cystinosis community gave me the Dr.'s email address who performs the test.  I broke down and emailed him this afternoon asking if he could give me the results now.  Apparently they mail the results to our doctor and that can take a few days.  WTF?  Who mails stuff these days?  Anyway, I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting and hoping for a response.

We fly out tomorrow for a long weekend and we were hoping to get the news before seeing all of DH's family.  We know what the results will be but I still think hearing it officially will be hard for us.  I'd rather not get that call while we're there.  

Ugh...I feel like we're living in a nightmare right now!
