Beginning signs of crawling...

My DD has been getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth,  the past few days, seemingly ready to flounce forward and begin crawling in just a few weeks!  How long did your LOs rock like this before they took off?  To me, it seems really early (I used to work in early childhood babies-3) and I am wanting to savor every little milestone!

    DD started doing that a few weeks ago and has been crawling a couple of steps the past week or so. She will be 6 months on Friday.

    dd started doing that a couple of weeks before she started to actually crawl. She actually would dive forward and face plant on accident some times. Now, there's no stopping her Stick out tongue

    DS has been doing the rocking and the downward dog for maybe 2 months now! he just can't seem to get his arms in motion. But he used to go backwards with all the rocking, now he stays in the same place. DD however never really rocked but just started flopping forward army crawl style. She's been doing this for about a month now, like a little paraplegic :/
