DD's right eye red bottom lid

dd's bottom lid has been red off and on since dec. At first she was sick and DR told me it was prob from her cold. Than it came back and went away again now again. She is going to the dr this week again and hopping for a better answer. Anyone else LO have this issue??

    Allergies?  We noticed DS's left eye would be red and puffy around the lid and bottom lid after we went to the IL's house.  We finally figured out he was allergic to cats.  He'd rub with his dominant hand (left) and so it only happened in his left eye.  Allergist confirmed with a scratch test that it was cats. 

    Now we make sure to wash his hands several times when we're in a house with cats and we give him allergy meds before we go. 

    It was the weirdest thing to figure out since it was only one eye. 

    good luck finding some answers so you know what you are dealing with.

    Ds has had the same issue on and off. Per the pedi we give him benadryl.  It's been bad with the pollen the past few weeks. Good luck!
