Okay so everyone I know said they put their Lo in the bathroom when they shower. Am I just neglectful or what-I put Lo in her cradle and figure if she cries 5 min age cries. Am I the only one here???
We have always had our kids in our bedroom when we shower. So right now, dd is in her RNP while I shower... DS hung out in his carseat, then the PNP, and dh eventually taught him how to play in our room while he showered (DH stayed home with ds for the first 2 years of his life).
We have both agreed we don't trust DS and DD together while one of us showers without the other one being home, but we haven't had a need to go there yet
I put DD in her bassinet when she's napping and take the wireless video monitor into the bathroom with me. I turn up the volume really loud and peak out of the shower curtain once in a while to check on her.

I shower at night. DS is now pretty consistently sleeping a good stretch from about 7:30pm to 1 or 2am so before I head to bed I'll jump in the shower. I haven't come out to him crying even one time yet. Most of the time DH is also home during this time but he's been traveling twice for a few days at a time since DS was born and even then I will leave him in his crib and take my shower. It's easiest for me to do it at night before I go to bed since my older two are in bed at that time, too. I wouldn't be comfortable showering while they are awake unless I took DS into the bathroom with me, but when they're sleeping I don't think it's a big deal.

Yesterday I hopped in the shower as soon as LO went down for a nap after a feeding. I knew she'd be out cold for awhile, so I just took a monitor into the bathroom with me. It was the first time she had napped in her crib, and it was totally fine.

I don't usually bring the kids or a monitor into the bathroom. I brought my older child in the other day, but usually I get the baby back to sleep and put the older one in her highchair or something like that and then sneak upstairs to wash up quickly.
I've discovered that it is now easier to shower at night instead of the morning. So I just have DH watch DD so I can shower. Usually every other night.

I just jump in the shower real quick once he goes to sleep after a nursing session. I take the monitor into the bathroom with me. Or I shower while DH is here.

I usually shower after I've fed my little guy and I just put him in his crib for a nap. I figure he's sleeping and evn if he wakes up 5 min of crying won't hurt him. Maybe I'm a bad mom but I don't even bring the monitor in with me. I subscribe to the "happy mom = happy baby" theory and for me to be happy and functional I need a shower. So him crying for 5 min so I can shower and feel sane is totally worth it. Honestly though, he's slept everytime. He doesn't even know I'm out of the room.
DH has been home since she was born so I haven't had that problem yet, but I have always showered at night so once he goes back to work I will go back to that. We have her taking one bottle a day in the evening that DH gives her, so that will be a good time for me to shower.
I have never brought baby or monitor into bathroom with men I just take a shower when he is napping. He is usually in his crib, I have yet to come out of the shower to him crying. I go when i know he will be sleeping for a while longer.
I bring the RNP or the bouncer into the bathroom. Our bathroom isn't connected to our bedroom and I don't feel comfortable leaving her in another room for that long (I take long-ass showers).
Usually DH is home when I shower. I haven't tried it solo yet. LOL However if I was alone I'd most likely leave him in his car seat or strapped into his swing in our room.
Having had a c-section though I was told not to lift/carry anything heavier than the baby, so I can't lift or move anything to place in the bathroom while I shower. :P

I used to bring LO in the bathroom in his swing, but now his swing only keeps him happy for 10 min max, so I just wait til he sleeps. I put him in his crib and take a shower or do house work.
I leave LO in her bassinet asleep in my room (adjoining the bathroom), or I leave DH in charge if he is home. I don't bring her or a monitor in the bathroom. So far she's never woken up and cried when left alone, but she has started crying and wanting to eat when left with DH.
