I am SO sorry about the previous millions posts. No idea what happened. My computer is a piece of crap lately.

Let me try this again. To get down to it, I got a positive test this morning and two negatives since then. I plan on taking one in the morning since I know hormone levels are higher concentrated in urine. I am nervous about what might happen if I am pregnant since I have the IUD. I have heard there is a much higher risk of miscarriage and complications. Anyone experienced this before?

If it was after a couple of minutes, it was very likely an evap line. I had a couple when I was ttc and was a little obsessed... would go back to the trash hours later and spy the discarded negative tests *just to be sure* and freak myself out with evap lines.

Test in the AM.

On the off chance you are pregnant, I know of one person who got pregnant while using mirena. She has a healthy baby girl:)

Not to freak you out, but call your doctor asap if your test is positive.  I once had Mirena, and one of the things my doctor told me, was that ectopic pregnancy risk is higher if you have an iud.

First off...wow that was nearly four pages lol! Also I second what PP said about contacting the dr. I was told that as well when going through BC options.

I would call your doc and explain--they can do a quick blood test and confirm and more so an u/s so they can rule out ectopic which could kill you!  This could be very seious.  Best of luck.  PLEASE keep us posted.
