Sad.... OB/GYN left... vent

So my OB/GYN left the practice.  I need a HSG in about 3 weeks.  I called and asked to talk my favorite MA to find out who she is working with and she tells me that she is only at the practice til the end of the month.  I have tried to google my Dr to follow him but all that is coming up is the old practice.  The MA suggested I search on Yellow Pages.  I did and still the old practice is coming up.  I really liked these people and really dont want to find new people.  I will get my HSG done with this practice because it is already ordered and I guess I will hope that the MA posts her new job on facebook or that in the next few weeks the google info changes.  I will need to be seen again if the HSG show my tubes are open and I will have my yearly in Aug.  I REALLY REALLY dont like the other Dr at the practice.  I guess I could just be seen by the NP who I like OK but would much rather follow the people that I love that helped me have all my babies.

I'm so sorry.  I hope you find someone you love soon!   It makes all the difference, especially when you factor in what they're doing!

Are they not getting a new OB to replace that one?  When our family doctor moved, the practice replaced her right away because they couldn't handle the patient load with one less doctor.

Can you call the L&D department where your Dr. has/had privileges? The nurses usually all know what is going on with who. My uncle is a ob/gyn and switched, many patients were able to follow him by getting the info through the nurses.
