Cd14 no follicles? (part vent)

Went in yesterday for my sono on cd14, my biggest follicle was 0.58 mm and i only know this because i asked the tech, my doctor usually doesn't tell me sizes if they are too small. I have never ovulated by cd14 so why would i have this cycle, just because that's how femera works? I feel like AGAIN this was a wasted cycle and im out again. It just brings on the feelings of thinking i'll never be able to conceive and have a child. She said next cycle we'll double the dosage, but if that one doesn't work, she's going to refer me to a new RE who might put me on injectables and maybe we should think about IUI. Which made the bad news even worse. I could barely keep myself from crying in the office. This whole IF is sucky, and it actually makes me feel like my body is betraying me you know? Ugh, i think that's it. Thanks anyone for listening.

    I am sorry JolenLove. The same thing happened to me during our first cycle with clomid. I went in and I had already O'd on CD10. I too felt like it was a waste... try to remember though that everyone responds differently to meds with some it is about trial and error of what works and what doesn't. I am unsure how long you have been TTC but it might be reasonable to begin with an RE after all they are the experts.

    That sucks!  So sorry to hear that the meds aren't working, but hopefully the double dosage will make a difference.  I've done IUI and aside from the meds and scans (which it sounds like you're already doing) there really wasn't much to it.  Good luck, FX!!!

    Thanks ladies! I am thinking of just going to the different doctor for the next cycle to get it done with. Also my DX is PCOS, im insulin resistant which is possibly turning into diabetes, i don't get a period or ovulate unless im on meds.
