Man, Estrace sucks.

I have never had felt this way when I was taking it for IVF. Granted I was only taking one pill a day vaginally and now I am taking 3 of them orally. For FET ladies out there - does that sound normal? It just seems like a lot to me.

It makes me have bouts of nausea plus I am so tired all.the.time! This is freakin worse then crinone! I think it's also making me irratable. Yesterday I found myself getting really angry for no reason. Anyone else get these s/e?

If you didn't have the s/e when you were taking one a day vaginally, can you ask your doctor if maybe you can take the three vaginally and see if that helps with your side effects?  

I never knew if my s/e while on estrace were from that or the FSH drugs, but I got headaches.

And Katib, they seemed pretty strict about taking it orally but what I am questioning is why do I have to take 3? I have heard that 2 is the common amount so I wonder why they do 3, especially since I have never had lining issues and our only dx is MFI. I shall call and ask!

For my FET I had to take the estrogen shots along with a suppository. The extra estrogen definitely made me more irritable than my fresh IVF cycles.

I just started my mock DE cycle last night. I just double checked my calendar and I will eventually be up to 5 pills a day. So, it sounds normal to me. I know when Bethany1026 did her FET she was on that many as well. I hope you feel better. Now I am nervous for what to expect!

I've been on 3/day orally for both fresh and frozen cycles.  And yes, those s/e's sound pretty normal  Sorry you aren't feeling great, just keep chanting "It will be worth it".

For all my fresh cycles I have taken Estrodial (which I think is the same thing) starting after ER.  I take six a day (three in the morning and 3 at night).  I have a lot of side effects (stomach pains, bloating, gassy, tired, sweating) but it's hard to know if it's from that or the Crinone.  Hang in there.

Thanks everyone! I am still going to call the RE today because I am a tad concerned about one of the s/e. I have been having mini-anxiety attack episodes since I started. My chest will get a heavy fluttery feeling and I will feel anxious for about 15 minutes then poof, it goes away. Very odd.
