Would you use yeast cream when dilated? Safe?

I am 3 cm and 90 percent effaced. I have been using clotrimazole cream once a week to prevent my pregnancy yeast from returning and dealing with thrush while breastfeeding. My midwives said it was okay and that it wouldn't hurt baby but I still feel uneasy about it. I don't want my baby to get  a mouthful or eyeful of cream during delivery. What would you do?

  • I had a nice little yeast infection a couple weeks ago and was already dilating and my MW told me to just go get monistat, so I vote it's completely ok :)
