megaloo

How did the weekend with your mother-in-law go?  Did you survive?  By the way I was highly disappointed that your little one did not explode on her lap.  It would have made the story all the more entertaining.

Re: megaloo

  • It was a rough weekend for sure! She walked in on me getting dressed and pumping breast milk. I don't know why she thinks it is ok to barge into my bedroom unannounced. She also kept giving me "advice" about what to do for DD. It was so annoying! For some reason it really bugged me that she would say the baby is "thirsty". She is hungry, this is her food. She kept trying to get me to give her more milk because she must be "thirsty". DD pretty much cried every time she held her.

The hardest part of it all is that we are going to move in with her in two months. We are moving back to New Mexico and we will stay with her until we find a place that we can afford. It is going to be rough!

  • Lovely.....on the other hand God only gives you what you can handle.

I'd be pissed if my mother-in-law ever decided I needed to feed my daughter because she is 'thirsty'.  Then again I get mad when my husband decides that she's hungry every time she cries even if she just ate.  On the other hand, at least your daughter knows who is best for her (not her grandma that she doesn't know).  She loves her parents and is becoming attached.  :)
