    I think I like the sound of Violet and Matilda together more.

    We THINK we've decided on Matilda, although I keep revisiting the other top names on our list.  DH loves Matilda Jane, but I don't know how many people would associate it with the clothing company.  Not a bad association though!

    The most important aspect in a name is their meaning and the meaning of Matilda means powerful battler, which could mean she will cause you trouble. I love Alice Honora, it's a virtuous name and her NN can be Aly. I think it also goes great with Violet Eliana

    Is this serious?  I don't think naming my daughter Matilda will make her a problem child...and I would never in a million years nickname Alice "Aly."

    Thank you!  I think I'd be happy with any of the names, which is why I go back and forth.  :)

    I voted for Matilda Jane (love it!) but I was so excited to see Honora as a middle name choice. I love that name! We were so close to choosing Annora as our Team Green girl name. We decided on something else but I still love it, and love Honora.

    You have lots of great names on your list. I also really like Alice (and I would never give it a nickname either, especially not Aly). I don't read into the meanings of names. That is the lowest on the list of importance to me.

    Love Matilda Jane - didn't know it was a clothing line DH loves Penelope (I like it) but for some reason I just can't get around to loving the name.

    Oh, I simply love Tallulah!!  It is a GP name for me but DH definitely gives me the side eye.

    DH has shot down Tallulah approximately once a week for the past two years.  Haha.  I keep bringing it up hoping he'll change his mind...he hated the name Violet at first, but ended up choosing it for DD.
