And saline sonogram as well - not the most exciting dr appt ever, but we were excited since it is one step closer to the real thing!  At the end of the appt, our nurse gave me a copy of one of the pictures they took during the sonogram part, it basically showed the outline of my uterus, and we marked where the embies will be transferred. 

On the drive back to work it hit me that this one thing visually summarized and symbolized our struggle (at least up to this point) - a picture of my very empty womb.

Sorry the picture of your uterus symbolizes your struggle until now.  

Try to start thinking it as a home for your embies!  It will be time before you know it.

I'll be having mine either this week or next (if they ever call me back to schedule!) I hope I get a pic of my empty ute. I like the idea of it being a before shot.

Sweetie, I am sure you have so many thoughts coming to your mind as you are going through the very emotional process, you are definitely one step (or more!) closer!! 

I remember my empty womb at the CD3 U/S before my IUI #1.  There was nothing in there, but I got excited for some reason that one day I will see my baby.  The very same night, I went out with my friends and my pregnant BFF.  She showed me her 3 months baby U/S picture.  It made me cry when I saw how beautiful he/she was, but at the same time, I cried because I remember how empty mine was...
