Anyone had a tube removed?

Sadly, at 7 weeks 1 day my left tube ruptured due to it being ectopic and I had a laparotomy to remove it  a week and a half ago.  I was wondering if anyone else went thru or going thru the same thing?  Thanks

ME! I had my left tube removed 2/29 at 8 weeks 3 days. It's been over a month and while not easy, it has gotten easier. My belly button is finally healed. I am sorry for your loss and hope you recover (physically) quickly.

Oh, ok, I anticipate a longer time to heal since I had a belly button and a bikini incision.   I'm just anxious to move on and start trying again in a few months.

I had a bikini incision as well, but it healed a lot faster than the belly button (mine just finished healing in the last few day). My doctor said we could try again in two months,, but I am scared to. Did your doctor give you a timeline to try?

I had my left tube removed when my ectopic was discovered.  I was 5 weeks, and it hadn't ruptured yet but was very close.  My surgery required 3 incisions (belly button and 2 bikini).  The belly button and the smaller bikini healed within a week or two.  The larger incision (where the tube was removed through) took over a month to fully heal.  My Dr gave me and my husband the go-ahead to try again after two cycles.

My doctor said that we can start trying when we felt ready.  We decided to wait for 3 months since i lost a lot of blood and need to rebuild my nutrients again.

I have one incision in the belly button and one bikini incision.  They have both healed outside, but I don't think it's healed inside.

I'm just anxious to start TTC again.
