Awww Silly me :(

So when I woke up today I set a goal to go outside and play "stick" with my doggy- I get some sun which my dad keeps insisting I do (for the vitamins) and doggy gets to play. Win win right? Wrong!

Playing stick is like fetch. Except my dog never mastered the concept of fetch. You throw the stick, she chases it and finds it. She picks it up and runs about half way back to you then drops it and waits for you to come get it or throw another one.

So a few minutes ago I asked my dog if she wanted to go play stick and she got so excited...she ran outside and got a stick right away and was ready to play. Silly me...I forgot I can't bend down to the ground yet My poor precious doggy was so sad when I had to tell her we couldn't play and had to come back inside. I feel awful; I let the poor girl down

You need one of those grabber thingies! My dog was so sad after my Lap and he couldn't lay on me. I felt bad.

Do you have a tree? Maybe you can go break off 10-15 sticks, and then when she doesn't bring them back you can get her attention and then throw another stick from your tree collection? Your dog will understand, I'm sure just being out with you was fun!

Yes I do! And the lap thing...we learned when I had my lap last year doggy could not go on a car ride with me b/c she wants to be on my lap. So DH is taking me for allergy shots today and what does he do? Ask the dog if she wants to go! She got all excited and I had to say no. So now I've let her down 2 today

One of our dogs does the same thing. I think I get more exercise they he does.

Aww, so sorry to you and your pup! My dog does the same thing, fetch is more like human fetch haha. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Oh goodness. Same thing happened to me. A week after the lap we had him in the car with us and he insisted on being right on my lap and clawing around. Not fun!

Awe im sorry Pulga. Im sure your pup would love some extra couch time and treat time. Try not to get too upset, im sure your pup knows you are in pain and that something is up. Im sure she is trying to cheer you up! Hugs!
