I had a really bad leg cramp in the middle of the night Andy leg is so stiff after I have sat for a bit! I have always heard to drink water and eat bananas for cramps before so I guess this would work for pregnancy also?
Yes we talked about it in our birthing class last week, water and bananas should help prevent them. But when you do get them, stretching the leg with your foot pointed towards you and then walking on it should help. They are the worst!!
Yes, increasing your potassium and/or calcium intake could help with leg cramps. I found an extra cup of orange juice worked great for me in previous pregnancies.
