I posted this on another board but haven't gotten any responses yet. I am trying to decide what our best next steps will be and am wondering about the following:
I have been dx with endo (stage 2). My last lap was in 2008 (maybe 2009, I don't really remember I guess). We are seeing a new RE who has us trying femara/follistim/trigger/iui. Our last cycle was bfn. I am willing to try it again, but wouldn't mind hearing if any of you have endo and have had success with iui. Am I just wasting my money? I know that endo creates a toxic environment that isn't great for his swimmers, but I'm still holding out hope that the "cheaper" iui will work so we don't have to do ivf since we have to pay out of pocket.

Re: iui and endo question (not pg yet)
In our case, sorry, IUI did not work, nor did several attempts at IUI and injectables. This is with advanced endo (pre and post lap) but also PCOS.
IVF did the trick.
I know how difficult it can be to figure out how to spend your money when dealing with OOP expenses. Good luck!
