Has anyone been experiencing side effects while on the mini-pill? I've been taking it for about 2 1/2 months. Over the last couple of weeks I've been having some dizziness and a general "blah" feeling. I've also been experiencing a lot of hair loss. Today I realized that I have two identifiable thin/balding spots. Anyone else gone through this while on camila?
Re: Mini-pill/Camila side effects?
I've been experiencing all of these things and I'm not on the mini pill. I've especially been losing my hair. Tons and tons and tons of it.
I'm on a different birth control pill so maybe the dizziness and blah feeling is just a general side effect from birth control? I know the hair loss can be just because you had a baby.
Fastest year of my life.
So glad that you posted this. I am noticing the same things! I just started taking it this month. I've been losing my hair so I'm not concerned about that. I'm on blood pressure meds and usually I feel great and I've been dizzy and off balance. I thought I needed my bp meds adjusted but my bp is fine. I also noticed an increase in feeling sad/blah. I was thinking it was just that my H has been deployed for 4 months and I'm getting impatient to him coming home. I've been so sad that my H has told me to stop taking my BC. I don't really need it until he comes home next month anyways, I just wanted to get in the habit of taking it everyday. I read and it says that depression is a side effect of the mini pill. (Also with my bp meds) There has to be something better that we (I) can take. I was breastfeeding and now I'm not due to medical reasons. You aren't the only one feeling this way.
Now that you guys say that, I have noticed a lot of hair failling out when I shower or brush. It just seems like its everywhere these days. I didn't put two and two together but I wonder if it isn't because of the pill. I feel like I am run down and grouchy, but I guess I don't know if I can blame the pill on that. A little bit of dizziness, but I had attributed that to thinking I needed my bp meds changed but maybe I was wrong there too.
I do know the first two months I was on it I spotted a lot every couple of days and the third month it slowed down and I had no period.
I was on the regular pill with estrogen before which seemed to have a lot less side effects for me. My bp is up a bit so they wanted me on this instead.
