Anyone planning to get an implant, tubes tied, or their H getting a vasectomy? If so when?

My H is getting a vasectomy. We think #3 will be our last, but just in case we plan to wait two years following. So if by October 2014 we are still dead set on just three kids, he will get snipped.

We don't want to do anything rash right after this one is born, that would have to be reversed. However, we don't want to wait so long that we end up with an oops 5 years down the road that is a lot younger than our first three, something my parents did

I had my tubes tied when I had Joshua.  I was 39 when I had him.

Yes, a hysterectomy later this year. I'm DONE having kids and have other medical issues the hysterectomy will take care of for me.

Yes, after we have a 3rd. DH will get a vasectomy sometime during LO #3's second year.

DH will be getting a vasectomy after DD2 is born. Not sure exactly how soon - it'll depending on his training schedule, but definitely within the next year. I refuse to go back on BCP.

I'm not sure what we will be doing yet.  We definitely want to try for number 2 at some point.  After that we will have to talk about it.  I don't want to make any rash decisions, but I also don't want to be on BCPs forever.

I wish DH would get snipped but he refuses. I'll likely do an IUD or maybe tubes down the road. I'm pretty sure I'll be done at 2 (I'll also be 32 when I deliver my second) but just to be sure I'd wait a few years before having my tubes tied. I sure hope I can convince him...but then again he does want more kids so I think he'll always be hoping I change my mind.

I mean, after possibly 2 c-sections it's the least he can do! Geez!

I am hoping that DH will go along with a vasectomy after LO#3. He is a little wary so if he doesn't go for it then I will be getting the IUD after the last LO

I don't think either one of us will do anything permanent. When we are more sure about family planning I'll get an IUD. (Right now, things are so up in the air we don't know if we want to start TTC this summer or what so we're holding off.)

Im battling my H with this right now. If he doesnt do anything, i'lll be having a tubal the first week of june.

DH is getting snipped hopefully within the next year.  We're not real positive when he'll be home from deployment and how soon after that he'll be able to get it done so I'm getting an IUD after this one just in case it takes a bit.  If this one wasn't a boy then DH wanted to try again in 5-8 years but now he's on board with just being done.

I'm having a repeat c/s with LO #2 so I'll get my tubes tied then.  I'm confident we're done with #2.
