XP from 0-3: Goodstart Protect vs Gentle?

Any Goodstart users switch from Protect to Gentle? Did you notice a difference in gas/spit up/general fussiness? DS was put on Protect on Monday and this whole week he's had HORRIBLE gas! Like...he's passed so much gas that I have to change his clothes at least once because his pants smell so bad. Im hoping maybe switching to Gentle will help. Or do I need to give it more time?

We started on DD on Gentle in the hospital (it was the only GS  variety they had), so when we got home we switched to Protect as I had samples.  After we used the samples, we went back to Gentle & she has been on ever since.  We did notice less spit up, not so much gas.

Started supplementing with Gentle after using Similac Advanced with DD was a few weeks old. Definitely reduced fussiness/gas for us. Never tried Protect.
